The idea
First user interviews and concept work: the idea for cdot is born. With our admission to the aws First Incubator program, we start building the prototype.
United by a shared goal
At our core, we believe that a company's most valuable resource is its collective operational knowledge. Yet this critical know-how and process knowledge is often locked away in static documents or in the heads of individual team members, or not anchored in the organization at all. It stays inaccessible instead of driving growth.
Our mission is to enable organizations to build a living, AI-ready knowledge foundation by turning static policies and documentation into a dynamic, learning ecosystem. We go beyond simple documentation and create a living platform for seamless collaboration between people and AI.
The team behind the idea
We are a small, close-knit team with flat hierarchies and experience in IT consulting, agile project management, AI research and business development. cdot was founded by Malte Scheuvens (strategy and technology) and Lisa Katzenschlager (product and operations). We build with passion in the heart of Vienna.
We love what we do and take our work seriously. In an environment where precision matters, we strive for excellence and don't settle for "good enough". Innovation, inspiration and responsibility are at the core of how we work together. With cdot, we want to build impactful technology and help shape where Europe's technology landscape goes in the long run.

Our story
The milestones that brought us here.
First user interviews and concept work: the idea for cdot is born. With our admission to the aws First Incubator program, we start building the prototype.
cdot officially exists, and we move into our office at Stubenring 24 in the heart of Vienna.
Together with a first pilot customer, we put our platform to work on real policies and SOPs and develop it around the needs of quality teams.
The program supports AI start-ups with access to NVIDIA's technology, expertise and network.
Together we research world models: AI that understands how regulations, processes and organizations connect. This is the foundation for impact analyses that take the real conditions on the shop floor into account.
Quality teams in regulated industries keep their controlled documents current with our platform, and we keep developing it together with them.
Partnerships
We combine specialized regulatory monitoring with applied research to make document maintenance reliable.
Regulatory monitoring
Codara continuously monitors legislation and regulatory sources. Its updates feed the external side of the cdot Change Inbox, so relevant changes reach the right documents.
Research partner
Together with Fraunhofer we research AI that understands how regulations, processes and organizations are connected: the foundation for reliable impact analysis.
Funded by the FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency) and aws (Austria Wirtschaftsservice), and additionally supported by the NVIDIA Inception program.
